此處所實踐的知識蒸餾，仿效史家處理一手與二手材料的方式：將材料分為可處理的單位，辨識主張與證據，跨文本比較，並在逐步升高的抽象層級上建立詮釋。
使中間層次可讀
人工智慧代理程式首先依主題、時間標記與論證方式的轉換，將古典散文劃分為邏輯段落。接著，依據從原始文獻反覆出現的特徵中提煉出的詮釋維度分析各段：論證結構、修辭推移、知識論主張、思想歸屬、美學判斷與歷史詮釋。段落層級的分析被結合為篇章層級的說明；選定的篇章或段落可進一步綜合為個別學者的暫定側寫。

一則蒸餾記錄
中間記錄是學術對象，而非後端資料。它記載原文所述、模型所推、何人修訂，以及依賴此記錄的下一層記錄。
為何是「機」 · 「機」指積累的理解轉為生成形式的那一點：機制、關鍵時刻、樞紐。副標記便是從主標誌中取出的那一點——關節之下主筆的末段、關節之上的傾斜，以及枝條的起始。它標示本網站上一種知識轉為另一種知識的位置，絕不作為裝飾使用。

Here knowledge distillation refers not to the compression of one machine-learning model into another, but to the machine-assisted construction of progressively more synthetic interpretations. Higher-order interpretations are more synthetic, not more authoritative; a scholar profile is corpus-conditioned and provisional. The interpretation is articulated, not assembled.
Because historical interpretation is not a matter of arriving at a final right or wrong answer, readings of individual passages reshape the provisional understanding of a text, author, or controversy — and that provisional whole redirects attention to particular sources. Historians can revise the segmentation, accept or reject a classification, modify the taxonomy, or reconsider the profile; new texts enter at the relevant layer and the levels above are recomputed and compared with earlier versions.
可追溯性
此方法保持「文本明確陳述的內容」與「模型推論的內容」之間的區分，且每一結論都可回溯至相關段落。每一項結果都能回到權威性一手或二手文獻中的特定位置。這種可追溯性，是取得評估研究成果的學術社群信任的基礎。
